Job Title - Mechanical Design Engineer II Job Location -Brooklyn Park, Minnesota,Job Description -This engineering role will be supporting our PFAS project team. The primary responsibility will be supporting CAD work. This includes updating and redesigning drawings and models to accommodate PFAS material changes. This person will also work with other engineers and technicians to support validation activities related to these design changes.Main Key skills:Proven CAD experience (preferably Creo)GD&T experienceExperience with injection molding in the medical device industry highly desiredWorking with cross function PFAS team as Design Subject Matter ExpertUpdating CAD models and drawings for PFAS changesTroubleshooting design issues and providing solutionsCoordinating validation activities with technicians and engineersResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.Research, plans, designs, verifies, validates and develops mechanical and/or electromechanical products and systems, such as metals, instruments, controls, plastics, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, resonance, hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy.Recommends various technology options or approaches for system, processes, facility or program improvements in terms of safety, performance, efficiency or costs. May be responsible for the transfer from R&D to manufacturing.
