The Position: We are seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to join our Irvine office. This role is ideal for a technically strong tax professional who thrives in a client-facing environment, enjoys mentoring teams, and is looking to play a key role in both tax compliance and strategic advisory services. What You’ll Do Manage and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-Corps, and corporations Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive tax planning and advisory services Lead tax engagements from planning through completion, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Research and interpret tax laws and regulations, providing clear guidance to clients and internal teams Mentor and develop staff and senior accountants, reviewing work and supporting growth Identify tax-saving opportunities and implement strategic solutions for clients Collaborate with firm leadership on client strategy, workflow improvements, and process enhancements Requirements CPA license required 6+ years of public accounting tax experience (Manager level) Strong experience with high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines Advanced knowledge of federal and state tax regulations Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills Experience reviewing and mentoring staff What’s Offered Salary: $130,000 – $200,000/year (DOE) Bonuses: Performance-based bonus structure Competitive Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision 401(k) with company match Generous PTO, vacation, and paid holidays Hybrid flexibility and work-life balance Clear path for advancement into senior leadership Collaborative, team-driven culture with strong tenure Apply Today: Apply directly to this job ad with your updated resume, then email it to the recruiter listed below for prompt review and consideration.
