We offer a unique opportunity to practice comprehensive clinical cardiology while contributing to education and care for a diverse, urban patient population. You will join a multidisciplinary group of 12 cardiologists and 8 advanced practice providers delivering the full spectrum of cardiovascular care, including advanced electrophysiology and interventional cardiology services.
Clinical Responsibilities
Comprehensive non-invasive cardiology practice, including inpatient (CCU/consultative services) and outpatient care
Interpretation of stress testing, ECGs, and ambulatory rhythm monitoring
Advanced echocardiography, including transesophageal and stress echocardiography
Opportunities for cardiac imaging, including nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, and potential involvement in cardiac MRI, based on training and interest
Supervision and teaching of cardiology fellows, residents, and medical students through our academic partnership with the University of Colorado
Qualifications
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
Level II echocardiography training
Commitment to team-based care and service to a diverse, multicultural patient population
Preferred
Advanced echocardiographic expertise (3D echo, strain imaging)
Level III echocardiography and/or NBE certification
Certification in nuclear cardiology and/or cardiac CT
Procedural TEE experience

Denver Health is an integrated clinical and academic partner of the University of Colorado School of Medicine. The selected candidate will receive a faculty appointment at an academic rank commensurate with experience and qualifications.
