MEDICAL ASSEMBLY- $20/HR- $22/HR- URGENT HIRING- START ASAP

Medical Assemblers Join our team as a Medical Assembler, where you will play a vital role in the production of medical components in a cleanroom environment. You will start in the coiling department, where you'll operate coil winding machines and transition to using microscopes to inspect and manipulate wires. As you gain experience, you will have opportunities to train in various assembly areas, enhancing your skills in medical device manufacturing.Responsibilities Operate coil winding machines to wrap and wind coils around a spindle for medical assembly processes.Inspect and manipulate wires using microscopes for approximately 30-50% of the day.Cross-train in multiple assembly areas including Molding, CEA, Laser Welding, and Implantable Housings.Inspect and deburr parts using tools such as pliers, filers, and knives.Work with laser welding machines and microscopes to weld and finish small medical components.Operate automated presses and stamping machines in the Implantable Housings area.Inspect parts and ensure quality, deburring and filing down excess materials when necessary.Sit or stand for up to 8 hours a day, being comfortable with both.Essential Skills 4-6+ months of experience in medical manufacturing or small part assembly.Experience working with microscopes.Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment.Ability to work with small hand tools both under a microscope and without it.Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanical inclination is beneficial, especially for the Implantable Housings area.Hand dexterity skills are advantageous, similar to those used in sewing.Adaptability and openness to cross-training in different assembly areas.Why Work Here? Some positions are in non-cleanroom areas where eye protection is mandatory. The non-cleanroom area is louder with more machinery, but ear plugs are available if needed. Candidates must be comfortable with varying tasks, including sitting and standing throughout the workday. The dress code allows for skirts with appropriate coverage and hijabs, provided they comply with safety requirements.Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.78/hr.
