FT Mens Utility Sr Area Coordinator- Hershey's Chocolate WorldThis is a full-time hourly position located in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The company will not provide relocation assistance. The Utilities Senior Area Coordinator's primary role is to ensure that all customer service standards are met through safety, professionalism, presentation, and efficiency, and that the department is appropriately prepared for the expected business volume. The Utilities Senior Area Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation across the Utility Department. This position supports a specific area within the Utilities Department. Responsibilities include employee training, making operational decisions, and ensuring the highest level of customer service. The Utility Senior Area Coordinator will start and closedown utility operations within the building, address guest concerns, and communicate with and support the leadership staff. This position will be required to facilitate pre-shift meetings to share vital information with team members while coordinating employee breaks and overall productivity. This position requires a focus on exceptional customer service and expects the Senior Area Coordinator to be approachable, courteous, and knowledgeable about our products, be able to clearly communicate with guests and assist them with questions, as well as provide general information to guests with a high level of professionalism.Major Duties/Responsibilities:Demonstrate Hershey behaviors through motivation, inspiration, education, and communicationConduct training for employees in a specific location on proper processes and service standardsCoordinate ongoing training, productivity, and break schedules for respective areasMake operational decisions to efficiently run a specific locationAssist with detailed cleaning and annual cleaning projectsEnsure utility employees are following Utility policies to ensure safe clean-up of bodily fluids and biohazard spills and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and following hand washing proceduresTake department attendance at the meeting place of an evacuation situationMaintain utility supplies at acceptable inventory levels in specific areasRespond to first responder calls of employee medical issues and report to Health ServicesAssist with Utility Department daily operationsRecord attendance issuesMinimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:Must maintain a neat appearance and meet the uniform standardsMust be able to push, pull, lift, and carry 25-50 poundsMust be able to walk or stand for 8 hoursAbility to bend, stoop, and twistAbility to tolerate the repetitive motion of the hands, fingers, and wristsMust be able to work at a fast pace and remain focused, accurate, and efficientOverhead lifting may be requiredKnowledge of basic Microsoft Office computer skillsAttention to detailAbility to collaborate across the organization with other departmentsAbility to organize and multi-taskProblem solving skillsTime management skillsBasic math skills to add/subtract inventoryAbility to perform general cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, picking up trash, and washing and sanitizing surfacesMinimum Education and Experience Requirements:Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not requiredExperience: 6 months of custodial experience is requiredThe Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
