Landscape Construction Foreman
Overview
As a Landscape Construction Foreman, you will lead crews on commercial and public‑works landscape projects across Oregon and Washington. This working foreman role combines hands‑on installation with crew leadership and project coordination to deliver high‑quality, on‑schedule jobs under prevailing‑wage requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a crew of 3‑5 landscape laborers and technicians to install hardscape and softscape features, irrigation systems and plantings.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, schedules and specifications; plan and prioritize daily tasks to deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Coordinate with project managers, estimators, suppliers and clients to ensure materials, equipment and labor align with project schedules.
- Enforce safety standards and prevailing wage compliance; maintain accurate time cards, training logs and job‑site documentation.
- Train and mentor crew members; ensure adherence to quality standards and productivity goals.
- Operate and oversee use of equipment such as skid steers, excavators, conveyor/blower trucks and hand tools.
- Travel to job sites across Oregon and Washington; occasional overnight travel may be required.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of landscape construction experience with crew leadership; experience on prevailing wage projects strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of commercial landscape construction processes including grading, irrigation, plant installation and hardscape assembly.
- Ability to read blueprints, interpret specifications and perform layout.
- Excellent communication, organization and team leadership skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel statewide across Oregon and Washington.
- Physically able to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Pay: $62,400.00 - $99,257.60 per year
