Compliance Financial Review MonitorThe Compliance Financial Review Monitor will work in a fast paced, multi-faceted environment conducting highly complex financial and procurement compliance reviews of Contracting Entities (CEs) participating in the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Child Nutrition Program(s) (CNP) administered by the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) Food and Nutrition (F&N) Division to ensure program integrity, economy, efficiency, and effectiveness. You will work under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Primary responsibilities include performing all assigned aspects of compliance reviews, evaluating and assessing compliance review results, providing technical assistance for complying with program rules and regulations, ensuring all corrective action plans are performed timely, completely, and accurately, communicating compliance review findings, providing input in the development and implementation of TDA F&N policies and procedures, assisting with performing maintenance updates and testing, and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or related field, four years of work audit/accounting/financial work experience with an emphasis on financial compliance or financial grant management, a valid Texas driver's license and an acceptable driving record. Preferred experience includes governmental auditing/accounting/financial compliance/financial management and sub-recipient monitoring for a governmental entity. Knowledge of accounting and auditing methods, generally accepted auditing standards, computer technology principles, federal and state regulations, excellent customer service skills, ability to compose clear audit reports, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality are also required.
