RN - Med/Surg - Day Shift - START ASAP - $ 64.80/hr
Job Summary (List Format):
Position: Registered Nurse (RN), Med/Surg Unit
- Shift: Day shift, 7am - 7pm; three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours); includes every other weekend
Patient Population: Primarily adults, occasional pediatric patients (not a pediatric floor)
Unit Type: General Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg), including medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care
Location: Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH), Northeast Kingdom, Vermont
Start Dates/Orientation: 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and deliver comprehensive patient care for adult and occasional pediatric patients
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet diverse patient needs
Utilize the Nursing Process for clinical decision-making
Provide holistic care addressing physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs
Report to Unit Director, Clinical Nurse Lead, and/or Nursing Supervisor
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years acute care experience (Med/Surg preferred)
Experience with Meditech preferred
Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN license required
BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certifications required prior to start
Upload all credentials at least 5 business days before start date

25-bed independent, nonprofit critical access hospital
Offers primary, preventive, surgical, specialty, inpatient, outpatient, and 24/7 emergency care
Located in an area known for natural beauty and year-round outdoor activities
