Job DescriptionThe Queen's Health System is seeking a Chief of Radiology at the Manamna/Punchbowl campus in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Queens Medical Center in Honolulu, functions as a major academic teaching hospital that will enable you to train future doctors through its affiliation with the University of Hawaiis medical school and offers extensive residency programs.This is a vital and strategic physician leadership and oversight role that oversees the Radiology Program that across The Queens Health Systems. The Chief role is responsible for advancing clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and service quality while fostering collaboration and alignment across multiple entities while upholding the health systems commitment to improving the well-being of Native Hawaiians and all people of Hawaii.This is an opportunity to join a world-class team of Radiologists at a facility changing lives throughout the entire state.Position Details:Split of 70% Clinical/Diagnostic Radiology and 30% Administrative (Chief)Monday to Friday schedule; Alternating shifts will be 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. (HST)As many as 2 late shifts per week, 1 weekend per monthCall is 1 weekend per month and 2 weekdays per weekCore Competencies:Define and communicate the Radiology Programs mission, vision, and strategic directionAlign program goals with system-wide initiatives and present regular performance reportsCollaborate with leadership to meet operational and clinical objectivesEstablish standardized operating procedures and coverage modelsLead initiatives to improve quality, reduce variation, and enhance patient experienceQualifications & Requirements:Must be board-certified in Radiology (MD)License to practice in the State of Hawaii5+ years of administrative experience requiredMust demonstrate relevant administrative and management/leadership experienceCompensation & Benefits:Compensation is between $640,000 and $745,000 per yearRelocation assistance and sign-on bonus is availableCME dollarsFull benefits including health, vision, dental, retirement, PTO and morePTO12 weeks vacation per yearWhere Youll WorkThe Queens Medical Center was founded in 1859 by Queen Emma and King Kamehameha IV and has grown to the largest private, nonprofit medical center in Hawaii, with 575 acute beds, serving the entire state and the Pacific Basin.
