It’s an exciting time to be a part of H&R Block!What you'll do...Our Data Science and Analytics team has an excellent opportunity for Data Visualization Analyst Developer.Day to day, you'll...Design, implement, and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations — acting as a visualization and business-intelligence subject-matter expertProvide consultation to end users and cross-functional teams to address business issues, producing datasets and reports via reporting toolsAnalyze complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to deliver insights to decision-makersIdentify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to understand key influences on business outcomesSupport strategic initiatives by building tactical plans and recommendations based on business data and market knowledgeCreate specifications for reports/analyses based on business needs and available dataEngage in continuous improvement of existing programs and ownership of projects/programsWork with minimal direction under a given strategy; coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomesApply design thinking to improve the effectiveness and usability of deliverables (dashboards, visualizations, reports)What you'll bring to the team...Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience2 years minimum related work experienceExperience with SQLProficiency with one or more visualization/BI tools/PowerBI Familiarity with Microsoft FabricExperience designing, implementing, and maintaining reports, dashboards, and visualizationsExperience working cross-functionally with different teams to implement data models and monitor resultsAbility to create business cases, generate innovative ideas, and provide strategic/tactical recommendations based on dataIt would be even better if you also had...Looker experienceWhy work for usSince 1955, we have been leaders in tax preparation, financial services, and small business solutions.
