We value diversity and base allemployment decisions on qualifications, merit and business need.JOB SUMMARYThe Executive Assistant to the Chief Legal & Administrative Officer at BKV is responsible formanaging the Officer's calendar, handling communication, coordinating meetings and travel, andassisting with projects and organizational tasks, particularly those focused on the LegalDepartment. The Executive Assistant acts as the primary point of contact between the executiveand internal and external stakeholders, representing the executive's interests and priorities.This role works to achieve operational targets under minimal supervision. The ideal candidatemust have the ability to influence others by explaining facts, policies and practices, and mustexhibit a high degree of trustworthiness and discretion. Demonstrates integrity,accountability and transparency; upholds BKV standards, values and culture.RESPONSIBILITIESTypical job responsibilities of the Executive Assistant to the Chief Legal and AdministrativeOfficer include:Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and prioritize the executive's time.Handle phone calls, emails, and other correspondence, filtering importantcommunications.Prepare and edit documents, presentations, and reports for meetings or presentations.Organize complex travel itineraries, including flights, hotels, and transportation.Ensure travel arrangements align with the executive's needs and preferences, includinglast-minute changes.Schedule, organize, and coordinate internal and external meetings, ensuring all logisticsare in place.Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.Ensure executive is well-prepared for meetings, with necessary documents or briefings.Act as the main point of contact between the executive and other staff, clients, orstakeholders.Respond to inquiries on behalf of the executive, drafting responses when appropriate.Manage the Legal and Contracts Review email inboxes and delegate review assignmentswithin the Legal department as required.Maintain organized and secure legal files, contract repositories, and document retentionsystems in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.Review for accuracy, code and process for payment of all invoices received by the Legaldepartment.Manage and maintain the budget for the Legal departmentReview, analyze and when necessary, obtain approval for vendor Insurance VarianceRequests.Assist with compliance-related reporting, audits, and internal controls as needed.Prepare status updates, help organize resources and follow up with team members.Organize and maintain important files, contracts, and documents.Ensure that confidential information is handled appropriately, following companypolicies.Handle expense reports for executive.Perform other duties as required.REQUIRED SKILLSAbility to make quick, informed decisions, especially when the executive is unavailable.Skilled at managing time-sensitive activities and balancing executive priorities.Ability to act in the best interests of the executive without breaching trust orconfidentiality.Demonstrated experience working with legal documents, contracts, and confidentialmaterial.Understanding of basic legal terminology and processes.Proficient in Microsoft Office and job-related applications. Uses insights from digitaltools to improve performance.Ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Advanced interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills.Demonstrated attention to detail, organization and prioritization skills.Demonstrated cognitive and problem-solving skills.Growth mindset with a demonstrated ability to innovate, embrace change and have grit.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEAssociate or bachelor's degree preferred.A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Executive Assistant to a C-level executivePrevious experience supporting a CLO, General Counsel or supporting Sr. Partners at anAMLaw 100 law firm is a plusFamiliarity with contract management systems, document management tools, and e signature platforms a plus.Previous experience supporting an executive at a company of 500-1000 is a plusPrevious experience supporting an executive at a publicly traded company is a plusPHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONSThis position is based out of the BKV Office in Denver, Colorado. Position is hybriddepending on weekly priorities and events.Work Environment:Primarily office-based with standard business hours; extended hoursmay be required depending on business needs. May occasionally be exposed todistracting noise while sharing office space with others.Physical Demands:Ability to sit for extended periods of time.Ability to operate a computer, telephone, and other office equipment.Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.COMPENSATION• Base Pay: $70,000 - $128,000
