Business Unit Operations SpecialistAt Regions, the Business Unit Operations Specialist performs a variety of operational tasks within the line of business.Primary ResponsibilitiesReceives and reviews incoming work, contacting appropriate resources as neededResolves customer or associate inquiries as necessaryPrepares, edits, distributes, and/or corrects documentsMay research and resolve payment related issues which may include missing payments, disputed accounts history requests and general related questionsWorks under general supervision following established guidelines and proceduresThis position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GEDPreferencesTwo (2) years of operations or related experienceSkills and CompetenciesAbility to learn additional systems as neededAbility to work in a team environment when applicableProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skillsStrong work ethic and self-motivationSort and process departmental faxes, mail, and other documentsSort and process documents submitted by customersDownload, prepare, and fax or email documents to customersCalls to customers to request specific documents or actionsHours: 40 hours Monday-Friday between 7am-6pmThis position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.Position TypeFull timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions.
