The Master Instructor will conduct training sessions for law enforcement, military, and correctional professionals on the safe and effective use of PepperBall products.Responsibilities include:Conducting Instructor/Armorer and User Certification coursesPreparing lesson plans and training materialsDelivering both in-person and virtual instructionEvaluating trainee performance and maintaining course standardsEnsuring alignment with organizational safety standards and operational best practicesSupporting product demonstrations and agency evaluationsProviding field feedback related to product development and training improvementsMaintaining current knowledge of less-lethal tactics, technologies, and industry trendsThis position requires professionalism, strong communication skills, operational credibility, and the ability to effectively engage law enforcement and correctional personnel in both classroom and practical training environments.Required QualificationsFormer law enforcement experience requiredMust have prior operational experience utilizing PepperBall products as an end user in the fieldFirearms background requiredStrong understanding of range safety procedures and range operations requiredAbility and willingness to travel throughout the United States as requiredStrong public speaking and presentation skillsStrong organizational skills and time management abilitiesAbility to instruct and engage large groups in both classroom and practical training environmentsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to adapt training methods for various environments and learning stylesPreferred / Recommended QualificationsPrior instructor, FTO, SWAT, Corrections, or tactical team experience preferredPrevious experience teaching law enforcement, military, or correctional personnel preferredKnowledge of less-lethal systems, de-escalation tactics, and use-of-force concepts preferredExperience conducting both in-person and remote/virtual instruction preferredExperience developing curriculum, lesson plans, or training materials is a plusPrevious PepperBall Instructor/Armorer certification or experience with similar less-lethal systems preferredExperience working with international or multi-agency training environments preferredFamiliarity with law enforcement training documentation and certification processes preferred
