Team members work in a collaborative environment that values ongoing professional development and industry expertise.Role Description This contract Life Insurance Broker role is a hybrid position based in Omaha, NE, with a combination of in-office client meetings and work-from-home responsibilities. The Life Insurance Broker will identify client needs, assess financial situations, and recommend appropriate life insurance and related products. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and following up with leads, conducting consultations, preparing quotes, and presenting tailored coverage options. The role also involves managing applications, coordinating underwriting requirements, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards. The broker will provide ongoing service to clients, respond to questions, review policies periodically, and collaborate with internal teams and carrier representatives to support client outcomes.Qualifications Strong Insurance Brokerage and Insurance skills, including product knowledge and experience working with multiple carriers.Solid Finance and Retirement Planning skills to evaluate client needs and provide suitable long-term protection strategies.Proven Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust, explain complex information clearly, and maintain long-term client relationships.Active or eligible state life insurance license for Nebraska (or willingness to obtain within a defined timeframe).Familiarity with insurance sales processes, underwriting requirements, and regulatory compliance.Comfort with hybrid work arrangements, including in-person meetings in Omaha, NE, and remote client communication.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.Prior experience in life insurance, financial services, or related fields is beneficial.
