In this role, you will help develop and document electrical design solutions for a wide range of building and infrastructure projects. SEH’s M/E teams design efficient, reliable, and stable systems that serve as the backbone of highly functional facilities—from skyscrapers to water and wastewater facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop electrical design solutions for commercial, municipal, industrial, and utility facilitiesProduce construction documents, including drawings and specificationsCoordinate with engineers, designers, and other disciplines on multi‑discipline project teamsSupport projects ranging from preliminary studies to full construction documentationAssist with field surveys, construction observation, and client coordination as neededTypical Project TypesCommercial buildings and tenant improvementsUtilities and water/wastewater facilitiesRetail, grocery, laboratory, and educational facilitiesProjects ranging from small renovations to complex system documentationRequired QualificationsAssociate’s Degree in Electrical System Design or related fieldProficiency in AutoCAD and RevitKnowledge of applicable electrical codesUnderstanding of:Indoor and outdoor lighting designVoltage drop calculationsPower distribution system designPreferred Qualifications5+ years of practical electrical design experienceAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentStrong coordination skills across multiple disciplinesWillingness to travel as needed for:Team meetingsClient consultationsField surveys and construction observationCapability to manage and produce electrical construction documentsWho We AreBetter Places.
