Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYResponsible for ensuring food preparation and quality control is completed to the highest standards of excellence. JOB DUTIESFOOD PREPARATION: Prepares and cooks hot food products in accordance with safety guidelines. Packages, monitors and rotates prepared foods for sale. Prepares food in order to meet daily and weekly customer demands. Prepares products at customer's request. Cleans designated work area. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Provides professional courteous and efficient service at all times while interacting with customers in person and on the phone. The highest level of service is expected.PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES AS REQUIRED: Performs a variety of general duties, ordering, restocking products, cleaning and maintaining the facility, and other routine functions.DRESS CODE: Employees will be given a company uniform to wear while on duty. Employees may wear black or blue jeans or khakis. Clothing must be kept in a clean and neat manner. Employees are expected to maintain good personal hygiene and a professional appearance.B. ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS: (Any equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience)EducationHigh School diploma or GED is required.ExperienceMust have six months of previous work experience preferably in a retail environment. Must possess a State of Alaska Food Handlers card. Must possess excellent customer service skills as well as the ability to supervisor and coordinate the food preparation staff. Licensure/CertificationMust possess an Alaska State Food Worker's.Other QualificationsMust be 19 years old in order to work in an environment that sells tobacco products. Incumbent must provide excellent customer service with respect, courtesy and efficiency and must be able to work cooperatively with others and possess the ability to make decisions according to pre-defined guidelines. AttendanceRegular attendance is a requirement of this position.
