Full-Time Phlebotomist

IVI RMA North America has a need for a full-time Phlebotomist to work in our Center City, PA location. This position works Monday-Friday from 6:30am-3:30pm.This individual will draw blood from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. The Phlebotomist maintains a cooperative relationship with clinical staff and helps to create a positive experience for our patients.Essential Functions and Accountabilities:Properly identifies patients.Performs and explains the process of the venipuncture and/or other specimen collection as required.Conducts blood draws, labeling specimens, and centrifuging specimens.To store and transport specimen samples according to the different procedures to maintain integrity of the specimen.Understands and complies with OSHA and DEP regulations.Maintains clean and stocked phlebotomy Area.Reassures patients and provide comfort to ease anxieties.Academic Training:Completion of a Phlebotomy Program- highly preferred (required in CA, WA, TX).Studies level: CertificationStudies area: Phlebotomy ProgramPosition Requirements/Experience:3+ years' recent work performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting - requiredMust be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional eveningsTechnical Skills:Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word, and Outlook - requiredElectronic Medical Records (EMR) experience - requiredIVI-RMA offers a comprehensive benefits package to all employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week.Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance OptionsRetirement 401K PlanPaid Time Off & Paid HolidaysCompany Paid: Life Insurance & Long-Term Disability & AD&DFlexible Spending AccountsEmployee Assistance ProgramTuition ReimbursementAbout IVIRMA Global:IVIRMA is the largest group in the world devoted exclusively to human Assisted Reproduction Technology.
