Our work environment includes: Modern office setting Food provided Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cook to assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in our kitchen. As a cook you will be required to make prep stations, refill supplies, and make food during business hours in a fast paced environment. Duties: - Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and other meal prep tasks - Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment - Ensure all food preparation areas are clean and sanitized - Monitor stock levels and communicate any shortages to the Manager - Assist in menu planning and recipe creation - Be able to cook food menu items to standard Requirements: - Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen environment - Understanding of food safety practices - Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately - Basic culinary skills such as knife handling and food preparation techniques - Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with kitchen/front of house staff effectively Nice-to-Have Skills: - Culinary training or relevant certification Join our team as a Cook to showcase your culinary skills in a dynamic kitchen environment!
