HVAC Territory Manager

Today, we are one of the Mid-Atlantic’s fastest-growing Plumbing, HVAC, and Water Systems distributors, with more than 300 employees across 40 locations throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, and West Virginia.We are currently seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Territory Manager – Outside Sales (HVAC) to join our growing team supporting the Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and Northern Maryland markets.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HVAC sales professional who enjoys building long-term customer relationships, developing new business, and partnering with contractors and industry professionals in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.Position SummaryThe Territory Manager will be responsible for growing sales and increasing profitability within an assigned territory by developing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting Northeastern Supply’s HVAC product offerings and solutions.This role requires a highly motivated sales professional who can effectively manage accounts, provide technical product support, and serve as a trusted partner to customers throughout the region.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with existing HVAC customers and contractorsIdentify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territoryConduct sales presentations and product demonstrations for customersUnderstand customer needs and recommend appropriate HVAC products and solutionsPrepare and present pricing quotations and proposalsVisit customer offices and job sites as needed to provide support and serviceMonitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedbackCollaborate with internal purchasing and operations teams to support customer demandParticipate in territory planning, forecasting, and sales goal developmentCross-sell and upsell additional products and services to increase account growthNegotiate pricing and terms while maintaining profitability objectivesPromote customer engagement initiatives, including Northeastern Supply’s “Touch Program”Represent the company through participation in local industry organizations and eventsQualifications3+ years of progressive experience in HVAC outside sales or related industry experienceStrong knowledge of the HVAC industry and contractor relationships within the local market preferredProven ability to develop business and grow customer accountsExcellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesSelf-motivated, results-oriented, and accountable for performanceAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to travel throughout the assigned territory and work flexible hours as neededWhat We OfferCompetitive base salary plus incentive opportunityComprehensive benefits packageGrowth opportunities within a well-established and expanding organizationSupportive team environment with strong industry reputationOpportunity to represent leading HVAC products and solutions in a high-growth marketIf you are an experienced HVAC sales professional looking to join a respected and growing organization, we would love to hear from you.
