Java Senior Developer (Full Time)This position is responsible for providing Senior Java Developer level analysis, design and hands-on development skills. Demonstrated record of developing successful applications that are highly integrated and reliable. Ability to operate effectively, and with a sense of possibility, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to be highly collaborative in coming up with solutions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Design, development and implementation of complex multi-tier systems with Web front end using Java / J2EE/Jscript/Struts technologies.Deliver high quality code to realize business requirements, perform peer design and code reviews, and use test driven development practicesCreate and execute unit, integration and regression test plans/scriptsQualifications:8+ years of demonstrated experience designing, developing and deploying high-volume, multi-tiered, distributed transactional applications6+ years - Expert knowledge of JAVA, J2EE/JEE, MVC application frameworks (Spring MVC and/or struts), JAVA design patterns, web and application servers. Must be hands-on.Strong Relational database experience skills using Oracle and SQLExperience in JDBC and web servicesRequire Strong web development skills HTML, DHTML, XML, XSL, JavaScriptHands-on experience in Unix, Linux and WindowsWorking knowledge in TeamConnect is added advantageExperience working in full iterative/Agile development environmentExperienced in performance tuning and optimization using JProfilerExperience working with and customizing Ant or Maven build scriptsExperience with component based web application frameworks is desiredAbility to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teamsExperience with agile/scrum methodologies to iterate quickly on product changes, developing user stories and working through backlogs is preferred
