Overview:
As a senior member of an agile team, you will contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of trading platform modules. You will translate business needs into reliable software while collaborating with analysts and product managers. You will design architecture, write code, and ensure quality through tests and documentation. Your work will impact trading capabilities, risk controls, and client support by delivering robust, scalable solutions. This role offers the chance to shape critical platform components in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, develop, test, and debug software enhancements within trading platforms
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to translate moderate-complexity requirements
- Participate in product architecture design within team scope
- Develop, test, debug, and implement software using Java, C#, SQL, JavaScript, or related languages
- Provide input in code reviews and write unit and automation tests
- Perform manual testing to ensure quality
- Contribute to design and API documentation and customer documentation processes
- Engage in Agile SCRUM ceremonies and cross-team activities
- Key requirements4 to 7 years of software engineering experience, preferably in financial services product delivery2 to 5 years in financial services focusing on Portfolio Management, Trading, Compliance, Post-Trade, IBOR or Wealth Management
- Strong object-oriented programming experience and familiarity with databases, scripting, and modern programming languages
- Ability to contribute to design specs with some guidance and handle small to medium projects with minimal supervision
