Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of menu items. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly. Support guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing special requests, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management. Ability to upsell menu items confidently and demonstrate sales skills to enhance guest experiences. Basic math skills for order entry, bill calculation, and cash handling accuracy. Guest services experience including host/hostess or serving roles is advantageous. Knowledge of the food industry standards related to hospitality, guest relations, and food preparation is desirable. Must be able to work flexible hours including nights; previous restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory for motivated candidates.
