We are a subsidiary of Nikkiso Company Ltd, a leading industrial manufacturer headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, with $1.5 B USD in annual revenue, 8000 + employees worldwide, and publicly traded on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.Annual Salary Range: $72,028.00 - $129,687.00ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions/Responsibilities:Develop Controls Engineering quotes and proposals based on customer project needsCreate Functional Specification documentationDesign Controls Engineering drawings, included but not limited to:Electrical schematicsControl panel and junction box layoutsOutline drawings and component details for electrical systemsNetwork communication drawingsSelect component parts and materials to be used in controls projects and create Bills of Materials for procurementTesting and troubleshooting panels and control systemsProgramming of PLC systems (FactoryTalk View Studio programming software)Programming of HMI systems (Panelview, FactoryTalk View SE)Programming of Historian systems (FactoryTalk Historian)Work with customers to integrate controls solutions into their systemsAbility to travel to customer sites for field startup and integration of controls systemsQualificationsEducation and Experience:Minimum BS in Electrical EngineeringThree to five years of experience minimum with the electrical engineering in responsibilities listed aboveAllen-Bradley PLC and HMI experience requiredAutoCAD experience required (i.e. Electrical schematics, Control Panel layouts, etc.)Experience with control component selection and control panel design (panel sizing, fuse/breaker selection, PLC component sizing and selection, etc.)Experience starting up control panels and control systemsAbility to problem solve and assist customers with control system issuesVFD drive experienceElectrical code experienceAbility to travel to customer sites worldwideFueling Systems (offload, dispensing, fueling stations, etc.) experience preferred, but not requiredWork EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
