CNC Machine Tool Engineer

Overview Location: South East, Home Counties, London. CNC Machine Tool Engineers – an opportunity with a leading independent supplier of CNC machine tools with over 50 years in business and international operations across four sites. The role involves servicing, repairs, electrical and mechanical fault finding, and commissioning. The successful candidate will join an established team and work across Berkshire, Kent, Hampshire, Home Counties, London, Sussex and Wiltshire counties from a home base in the South East. Responsibilities Service and maintain CNC machine tools (including electronic and mechanical systems) Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults Commission machinery and conduct system tests Travel within the defined geographic area to customer sites Package Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 basic for a 40-hour week, with travel paid door-to-door. Company van (non-trackered) or a car from a range of hatchbacks, estates including hybrids, with full personal use encouraged. Overtime available for those seeking additional earnings. Ideal Engineer – Qualifications 5+ years’ experience within the CNC machine tools industry, working on Cincinnati, Mazak and Haas machines (3, 5 and 6 axis); multi-spindle lathes, grinders, vertical saws, and machining centres Experience with controls including Fanuc, Trumpf, Heidenhain, Siemens and Samsung Ideally a 50/50 mechanical and electrical skillset with sound knowledge of rewiring closed-loop servo drives How to Apply If this sounds like you, we’d like to hear from you.
