Maintaining an accurate logistics inventory as provided by the Government, and provide periodic updates to the Product Support Facility (PSF)Operating the shipboard test equipment pool used with SURTASS mission equipment, including ensuring it is in calibration through early and frequent coordination with the PSFMaintaining a technical library on each ship to support all SURTASS mission equipment

#LI-LH1RequirementsRequires an associate's degree in computer science, electronics technology, or be a graduate of US Navy electronics "C" school or equivalent civilian electronics technical school; curriculum must have dealt directly with the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of:VME computers, digital computers, microprocessors or peripheral/interface equipment, networks, communications system, navigation system and/or sonar systemDoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required within 12 monthsDesired SkillsFive (5) years of practical hands-on experience in the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of, at a minimum, one of the following: Virtual Machine Environment (VME) computers, networks, digital computers, microprocessors, communications systems, navigation systems, and/or sonar systems
