Interim Accounting Manager Location: Lewisburg, TN (Fully Onsite) Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:15 PM Friday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM Pay Rate: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour Employment Type: Temporary Assignment Position Overview – Interim Accounting Manager We are seeking an experienced Interim Accounting Manager to support financial operations in a fast‑paced plant environment. This role will oversee reporting, cost accounting, month‑end close, and daily accounting functions while working closely with onsite teams. The position is fully onsite and requires strong SAP, cost accounting, and manufacturing or construction industry knowledge and experience. Key Responsibilities – Interim Accounting Manager Produce weekly and monthly KPI and financial reports using SAP Business One and Excel. Track and manage costs, supporting budgeting and variance analysis. Manage lien waivers and holdbacks, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Participate in and support inventory cycle counts. Assist with and complete a 4‑day month‑end close. Partner with assigned staff to manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Receiving. Maintain accurate financial records and support audits and special projects as needed. Qualifications – Interim Accounting Manager Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in a Controller‑level role. Manufacturing or construction industry experience (required). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with SAP (required) Strong understanding of cost‑based accounting.
