Middleware Engineer in Milpitas, CA

We are seeking a highly motivatedMiddleware Software Engineerto join our engineering team in Milpitas, California. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in software development, strong programming skills inC/C++ ,C# and Python , working knowledge ofQNX-based systems , and exposure to software testing and validation activities. The candidate should possess a positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn and explore new technologies in a fast-paced product development environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, enhance, and maintain middleware software components for embedded and real-time systems. Develop software usingC, C++, C# and Pythonfollowing coding standards and best practices. Participate in middleware integration activities across operating systems, applications, and hardware platforms. Work withQNX RTOSenvironments and support system-level software development activities. Develop unit tests and assist in software verification and validation activities. Execute functional, integration, and regression testing. Analyze software defects, perform debugging, and support root cause investigations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, hardware, systems, and test engineers. Contribute to software design reviews, code reviews, and technical documentation. Continuously learn and adopt new tools, technologies, and development methodologies. Required Technical Skills1 to 3 years of software development experience. Strong programming skills in:C C++ C#PythonBasic to intermediate knowledge ofQNX RTOS . Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC). Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts. Familiarity with source code management tools such as Git. Exposure to debugging tools and software troubleshooting techniques. Experience with software testing, validation, and defect tracking. Understanding of multithreading, IPC, and system-level programming concepts is a plus. Preferred QualificationsExperience working on embedded systems or real-time operating systems. Familiarity with Linux or other embedded operating systems. Exposure to middleware frameworks and device communication protocols. Internship or academic projects involving embedded software development. Knowledge of automated testing frameworks is a plus. Nice to HaveExposure to medical devices, industrial automation, semiconductor equipment, or embedded product development environments. Knowledge of software quality processes and coding standards. Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
