As a VehicleOperations Specialist (VOS)for on-road testing, you are the guardian of our technology. You are the link between our cutting-edge AI and the unpredictability of the open road.This isn't simply a "driving job"—it's a technical role that requires the focus of a pilot and the analytical mind of a tester. Cannot have more than 1 violation point countTechnical - Ability to navigate complexsoftware interfaces and troubleshoot basic hardware/connectivity issues.Focus - High "situational awareness"—the ability to remain hyper-focused for long durations in a repetitive environmentCommunication - Strong written Englishskills for technical reporting and clearverbal skills for real-time communications.Adaptable and Flexible – May test different software regularly and have to adjust shifts and schedules, possibly work on the weekend.Physical – Ability to sit in a car 6-8 hours a day and to be able to move and lift 30lbs for equipment.Core ResponsibilitiesYour day-to-day involves more than just sittingbehind the wheel. You are an agile sensor tester and a safety expert.Systems Supervision: Monitor vehicle softwaresystems while upholdingsafe operational protocols and full legal compliance.Structured Testing:Execute specifictest cases (e.g.navigating construction zones, roundabouts, heavy pedestrian traffic, etc.) and document system performance accordingly.Data Logging& Reporting: Provide concise, high-quality verbal and writtenfeedback on non-ideal vehicle behaviors and edge-case scenarios.Fleet Health:Perform pre-and-post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuringsensors (LiDAR, Cameras, Radar) are clean and report major, operational concerns accordingly.Collaboration: Work directly with Software and Hardware Engineersto troubleshoot issues identified during your shift(s).Minimum Qualifications:High School Diplomaor GED.Valid U.S. Driver'sLicense for at least 5 years.Ability to work flexible hours (including nightsand weekends).Must pass a rigorous background check and drug screen.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a technicalfield or equivalent experience in fleet operations and/or precision driving.Experience in the AV industryor testing complexhardware/software systems.Knowledge of vehicledynamics or basic automotive mechanics.
