Senior Accountant

OverviewOur client is seeking an experienced and analytical Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This individual will play a key role in managing core accounting functions, improving processes, and supporting accurate financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will work closely with leadership and cross‑functional partners to ensure financial integrity and support ongoing business growth.ResponsibilitiesLead month‑end and year‑end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timelinessPrepare and review complex journal entries and account reconciliationsAssist in the preparation of financial statements and management reportingAnalyze variances and provide key insights to support decision‑makingMaintain and reconcile general ledger accountsSupport budgeting and forecasting processesManage fixed assets, depreciation, and related reportingAssist internal and external auditors by providing documentation and explanationsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controlsMentor junior accounting staff and support their developmentQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred)3–5+ years of progressive accounting experienceDeep knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirementsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP/accounting systems preferredStrong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environmentExcellent communication skills and attention to detailBenefitsBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401(k) plan.
