Outside Sales RepresentativeThe Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by developing new business opportunities and managing existing customer relationships within an assigned territory. This self-motivated, results-oriented professional should have strong B2B sales experience, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of appliance and HVAC parts, equipment, or industrial components. The ideal candidate excels at building long-term client partnerships and consistently identifies opportunities to expand market presence and increase sales performance.Key Responsibilities:Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within assigned territoryDelivery runs to customers for the branch as neededVisit customers at their locations to present products, provide quotes, and offer tailored solutionsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at repair shops, contractors, distributors, or industrial clients, Liaison between D&L customers for up-to-date pricing, products, and servicesMaintain a deep understanding of the company's product lines and promote the right solutions for each customerCollaborating with the Marketing department for current D&L promotions, flyers, catalogs, pricing and other marketing materials to market to customer basesCollaborate with branch teams to ensure excellent service and timely deliveryPrepare and deliver sales presentations, sales forecasts, product demonstrations, and training programsTrack sales activities, opportunities, and customer communications; Maintain an accurate record of leads, customer accounts, and sales. Reporting daily / weekly back to your manager as requestedMeet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and quotasStay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needsRepresent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry functionsParticipate in sales calls and meetings as necessaryQualifications & Skills:25+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in wholesale distribution of parts or equipmentProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in a b2b environmentExcellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skillsExpected to uphold a professional image through appropriate hygiene, attire, and behavior; Maintain professionalism, diplomacy, and sensitivity to confidential company trade informationTechnical knowledge or experience with HVAC, electrical, or appliance parts is essentialSelf-starter with strong time management and organizational skillsWork with limited supervision following standard company practices and maintain positive relationships with peers and supervisorsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systemsAbility to operate office/branch equipment including computers, printers, fax machines, phone systemsPerform basic math for coordinating cash and credit transactions, and pricing of products and equipmentValid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving recordAbility to travel daily within the assigned regionOperate within the standard procedures and policies in accordance with D&L and the D&L HandbookParticipate in annual inventoryAbility to lift to 75 lbs. with assistance of lifts, jacks, or other necessary equipment when neededEstablished network of industry contacts in the territoryBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
