Clinical Supervisor -Drug and Alcohol Program

RequirementsThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:EducationMaster's degree or higher in a generally recognized clinical discipline. Preferred to be registered, licensed, or certified to practice if applicable.Work Experience2 years of mental health experience, paid or unpaidKnowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles and recovery driven service systemSupervisory experience Recovery begins with the right support—and the right leadership can make all the difference. As a Clinical Supervisor at Merakey at our Drug and Alcohol Program in Philadelphia, you’ll help shape a team dedicated to empowering individuals on their path to healing, growth, and lasting change.The Clinical Supervisor serves as a key leader within the Drug and Alcohol Program, supporting a positive, client-centered environment and guiding the team in delivering effective, recovery-focused services. This role helps ensure strong clinical practices, staff engagement, and overall program success.Responsibilities IncludeStaff ManagementHire, train, and staff to meet program needs; coach supervisors on interviewingProvide ongoing staff guidance, mentoring, and feedbackComplete evaluations; manage promotions and terminationsLead union-related processes for terminations and major violationsOversee supervisor handling of lower-level issues (attendance, performance)Step in for supervisor duties when neededModel and reinforce Merakey Core ValuesPromote a collaborative team environmentApprove staff timecardsProgram AdministrationProvide weekly supervision and bi-weekly team meetingsSupport staff professional and licensure developmentAttend assigned meetingsAssist with evidence-based practicesHandle administrative tasks (incident reports, case reviews, complaints)Earn $32.16 per hour.
