About the Role
CSI is seeking Robotics Engineers to join our growing team. We are seeking candidates with a strong robotics background and exposure to vision systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Concept, develop and plan machine robotic automation solutions, to include custom product development when required
Conduct feasibility studies and evaluations including the set-up and programming of equipment as well as testing, report writing and presentation
Support technical staff at all levels throughout a project. (assessment, design, development, and deployment)
Assist with the training and mentoring of technical staff
Develop and implement automation applications and solutions using the most current automation hardware and software
Primarily responsible for evaluating, testing, and debugging robotic systems
Provide technical leadership and daily support as it relates to robotics projects
Coordination of details for machine robotic implementation
Manufacturing robotics along with electrical design fundamentals
Troubleshoot and diagnose any problems with the automation systems
Prepare and present technical reports: provide training and documentation development
Coordinate the design and implementation of robotic applications, collaborating with project managers, engineering teams and clients to ensure on-time completion of projects deliverables
25% Travel required
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience
Experience working with collaborative robots
GRS certification required
Comprehensive understanding of robotics with experience in automotive and manufacturing industries including vision systems
GM related work experience is a plus
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
