The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the organization's external data processes, ensuring the end-to-end operational lifecycle, quality, and governance of data exchanged with clients, carriers, and vendor partners. This pivotal role involves leading teams in data transfers, reporting, audits, and issue resolution, with a strong focus on maintaining data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. The AVP will also be responsible for establishing and upholding standards, protocols, and performance expectations, as well as driving continuous improvement to enhance data trust and reporting confidence. A key aspect of the position is the ability to partner cross-functionally, particularly with client services, implementation, and technology teams, to align external data with business and reporting needs. Candidates for this role at the company should have a background in external data operations, data quality management, or operational data environments, with a proven track record of leading teams in data analysis, audits, and issue resolution. A strong understanding of external data processes, including various data transfer methods and formats, is essential. The role requires excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to lead through complex operational challenges. While not mandatory, experience in the insurance industry and a background in governance or continuous improvement initiatives are desirable.
