CNC Operator - Plasma Table

US Conveyor Technologies is looking for a Plasma Table Operator in Mackinaw, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for performing all duties required to properly utilize our newly installed 8' x 20' (cutting area) HD Plasma table. Responsibilities: Utilize table software to nest parts and efficiently utilize steel plate with minimal waste. Program and operate CNC plasma cutting table. Locate and deliver material using a forklift. Load burn table using overhead crane and/or forklift. Measure and inspect material before and after cutting to ensure quality compliance. Remove and locate drop material into proper locations, as well as the cutting and proper disposal of scrap. Mark material with proper work order numbers and accurately complete paperwork/reports. Responsible for preventive maintenance, proper use, and care of burn table and related equipment. Perform other tasks and assist other departments throughout facility as assigned by a supervisor, lead person or management Qualifications: Minimum of 1+ years' burn table or CNC experience preferred. Previous experience with Nesting software is preferred. Ability to safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts. Ability to read blueprints and drawings. Mechanically inclined and detail oriented. Able to work responsibly, safely, and intelligently.
