Empower Lives.All Abilities Learning Center is launching a brand-new location in Tucson and is seeking a dynamic, community-connected professional to lead outreach and member recruitment efforts for our DDD Day Training for Adults (DTA) program.This is a high-impact opportunity to help adults with Autism, Down syndrome, intellectual disabilities, and other developmental disabilities access services that promote independence, life skills, community engagement, and meaningful daily experiences.If you understand Arizona’s DDD system and know how to connect individuals to services, this role offers both purpose and performance-based earning potential.Position OverviewThis is a 1099 independent contractor position, which means:You are not classified as an employeeNo employer-provided benefits (no PTO, medical, retirement, etc.)No tax withholding (contractor is responsible for own taxes)Flexible, outcome-driven structureTemporary engagement for 3–6 months, with reevaluation based on enrollment growth and program needsCompensation includes:$18/hour* for outreach, engagement, and recruitment activitiesBonus pay for each member successfully enrolled into our DTA Day Programs*pay is negotiable based upon experience. This structure rewards initiative, networking, and measurable results.Key Responsibilities Community Outreach & Relationship DevelopmentDevelop and implement strategic outreach plans to increase awareness of our DDD Day Program throughout TucsonBuild and maintain relationships with:DDD Support CoordinatorsCase ManagersGroup homesBehavioral health providersSchools and transition programsIn-Person Requirements:Community organizations and advocacy groupsConduct presentations, informational sessions, and public speaking engagements to educate families and stakeholders about program services when asked toRepresent All Abilities Learning Center professionally at community eventsGive DTA tours for members and familiesMember Recruitment & Enrollment GrowthRecruit adults with developmental disabilities who have active DDD DTA authorizationsDemonstrate working knowledge of:DDD processesFocus systemService authorizationsEnrollment proceduresDesign targeted recruitment strategies to increase program censusTrack outreach activities, referrals, and enrollment metricsAnalyze recruitment effectiveness and adjust strategies accordinglyMarketing & Program VisibilitySupport digital outreach efforts, including social media and community engagement campaignsPromote program activities in a way that highlights inclusion, accessibility, and opportunityAssist with developing messaging that reflects empowerment and independenceQualificationsDemonstrated experience working within Arizona’s DDD systemFamiliarity with:DTA authorizationsFocus systemService coordination processesExperience in community outreach, social services, workforce development, public health, or related fieldsStrong public speaking and presentation skillsProven ability to recruit participants through strategic networkingOrganized, self-directed, and results-orientedComfortable tracking data and reporting measurable outcomesEstablished connections within the Tucson disability community preferredPreferred but not required:Background in program development or volunteer coordinationExperience working with individuals with Autism, Down syndrome, intellectual disabilities, or behavioral support needsMarketing or social media engagement experienceWhy This Role MattersYou are not just filling seats in a program — you are helping individuals gain access to services that support:Skill developmentCommunity inclusionSocial connectionGreater independenceEnhanced quality of lifeAs we open our new Prince Road location, this role is essential to building a strong foundation for long-term success.Location:All Abilities Learning Center700 W.
