Position Details: We are currently seeking a Pediatrician to cover call shifts starting from January 1, 2024, and continuing on an ongoing basis. The coverage is call-only, and the facility is looking for a dedicated provider to join their team. The call type is beeper, with an average call of 2 per 24 hours, and a response time required within 30 minutes. During each call shift, the provider is expected to see approximately 3 patients. Practice Setting: This is an inpatient position with no outpatient responsibilities. The facility has a total of 6 beds in the department, and the provider will be responsible for unassigned patients. Although the facility is not requiring hospital or surgery center privileges, temporary privileges are available if needed. MANDATED Job Requirements: To be considered for this exciting opportunity, the Pediatrician must be Board Certified (No BE), preferably with a fellowship. The minimum board certification required is Certified, and the provider should possess certifications in PALS and NRP. The facility only allows bids from providers with active licenses in Tennessee. Support Staff and Specialties: The locum tenens coverage will include support from 2 Registered Nurses. There is no requirement for supervision of advance practice providers, and no office staff or medical assistants are needed.
