Product Liability/Class Action Associate

We are seeking a talented and motivated mid-level Litigation Associate to join a highly regarded Product Liability and Class Action practice based in Los Angeles. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-exposure litigation matters, including product liability and class action cases, often involving catastrophic injury claims. Associates joining the team will be involved in all stages of litigation and will work closely with partners and clients on sophisticated defense matters in a collaborative, trial-focused environment.Responsibilities:Handle all aspects of product liability and class action litigation mattersDraft and argue motions, including dispositive and discovery-related motionsManage fact investigation and discovery, including written discovery and document productionPrepare corporate witnesses for depositionsTake and defend depositions of fact witnesses and expertsPrepare briefs and other substantive legal filingsAttend court appearances and hearingsAssist with trial preparation and participate in trial proceedingsWork directly with clients and provide clear, strategic legal guidanceManage cases effectively while meeting deadlines and quality expectationsQualifications:4–7 years of experience in complex litigationSubstantial experience in product liability and class action defense mattersDefense catastrophic injury experience strongly preferredAdmission to practice in California requiredStrong written communication and oral advocacy skillsDemonstrated experience handling cases from inception through resolutionHigh attention to detail and ability to perform under tight deadlinesStrong client-facing and interpersonal skillsBenefits:Competitive salary range of $200,000 – $235,000, DOEClear and attainable path to partnership with transparent expectationsRobust mentoring and professional development at every stageDirect access to partners and clientsCompetitive and sustainable billing expectationsBillable credit for pro bono work and approved firm activitiesStructured professional development programsHybrid working arrangement with regular in-office collaborationInclusive, collaborative, and supportive firm cultureIf you are interested in this position, and you meet the requirements of the role, please click ‘apply now’ to forward an up-to-date copy of your resume.
