Paint Sprayer Date: Oct 9, 2024 Location: Greer-South Carolina, SC, US Company: OP Mobility MISSION: Manually spray required touch up areas, visually inspect parts for paint defects, to produce a part that meets or exceeds our customer requirements. KPI and/or main deliverables Performance Indicators: Parts Reworked per Shift Right First Time (RFT) Process Indicators: Rejects from Customer Material Consumption Gemba Score TPM ACTIVITIES: Identify possible equipment and processes for continuous improvements. Prepare the parts for proper application of repair process (masking, cleaning, taping and sanding) Identify and manually spray required touch up areas on the parts. Inspect parts and identify defects on the parts in the application area. Clean and maintain application equipment (Spray guns, brushes, hoses) Maintain area 5S standard Maintain inventory for supplies and collaborate with Lab Team to order supplies Actively participate in Process Improvements and QRQC containments and corrective actions. Follow OPmobility procedures and SWI’s. Work schedule based on production requirements and overtime as requested. Complete any other duties assigned by supervisor. COMPETENCES REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma Pass Munsell Hue Test Customer Paint Standard Manual Automotive Painting/wet film experience Understanding of paint equipment operation Able to operate PPE relevant to paint application Sanding and Polishing Painted Parts Must pass medical evaluation for respirator use.
