Membership Sales Representative Pennsylvania / New Jersey / Delaware (Field-Based)African-American Chamber of Commerce of PA, NJ & DE (AACC)The African-American Chamber of Commerce of PA, NJ & DE (AACC) is seeking a relationship-driven Membership Sales Representative to support membership growth and community engagement across the tri-state region.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building relationships, and being actively involved in the business community. The Membership Sales Representative will focus on identifying prospective members, communicating the value of AACC membership, and supporting long-term member engagement.This is a field-based position that requires regular travel throughout the region, including attending networking events, visiting local businesses, and representing AACC within the community.What You’ll DoMembership Development & Outreach:Identify and connect with prospective member businesses throughout the tri-state areaConduct outreach through networking, in-person visits, phone calls, and email communicationBuild relationships with business owners and decision-makersCommunicate the value of AACC membership, programs, partnerships, and opportunitiesSales & Relationship Management:Manage the membership process from initial outreach through enrollmentMaintain and track outreach efforts, leads, and pipeline activityFollow up consistently with prospective membersSupport membership growth goals through ongoing outreach and engagementMember Engagement & Community Presence:Support onboarding efforts for new membersEncourage participation in AACC events and programmingRepresent AACC at networking events, expos, and community functionsServe as a connector between AACC and the local business communityWhat We’re Looking For:Strong communication and relationship-building skillsComfortable initiating conversations and networking in various settingsSelf-motivated and organized with the ability to manage a flexible scheduleGoal-oriented with the ability to stay persistent and proactivePassion for supporting African-American businesses and economic empowerment initiativesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experienceBackground in sales, customer service, business development, or relationship management is a plusStrong verbal and written communication skillsComfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systemsFamiliarity with the Philadelphia and tri-state business community is a plusValid driver’s license and reliable transportation requiredAdditional Information:This role requires regular travel throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware, including some evening and weekend events.The African-American Chamber of Commerce of PA, NJ & DE is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all employees and members.
