In this role, you will evaluate and treat residents to help them regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily living activities.Position SummaryThe Occupational Therapist is responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality care.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate residents and develop personalized treatment plansProvide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living and functional skillsAssess and recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modificationsMonitor and document patient progress accurately and timelyCollaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and therapy team membersEducate residents and families on therapy techniques and safetyEnsure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standardsMaintain a safe and clean therapy environmentQualificationsActive Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of New JerseyDegree from an accredited Occupational Therapy programPrevious experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferredStrong clinical, communication, and documentation skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentCompassionate, patient-centered approach
