Confidential Employer.Job DescriptionManage litigation matters from intake through resolution, including discovery, motion practice, deposition work, trial preparation, and trial supportDraft, review, and argue motions, pleadings, and other key litigation filingsTake and defend depositions and handle fact development throughout the life of a caseWork directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and the courtConduct legal research and develop case strategy in collaboration with partners and senior attorneysHandle public entity, general liability, insurance defense, and related civil litigation mattersHelp mentor and support junior attorneys as you grow within the firmMaintain strong case organization, time management, and responsiveness in a fast-paced practiceQualificationsActive California Bar licenseJD from an ABA-accredited law school2+ years of litigation experienceExperience handling key phases of litigation, including written discovery, depositions, and motion practiceStrong legal writing, oral advocacy, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage cases with minimal supervisionStrong organizational skills and attention to detailPublic entity litigation experience preferredCivil rights litigation experience highly desiredExperience with Clio and Lexis is a plusWhy You Will Love Working HereWe believe strong lawyers do their best work in an environment that supports both professional growth and personal balance.
