Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to serve as the primary electrical subject-matter expert in a multidisciplinary team, primarily composed of Mechanical Engineers. This hands-on role provides essential electrical expertise, supports cross-functional design efforts, and ensures electrical integration into product development. You will evaluate requirements, guide design decisions, develop test methodologies, and resolve complex technical issues.Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Technical Leadership Serve as the main electrical resource, offering guidance in design discussions, reviews, and troubleshooting. Advise Mechanical Engineers on electrical design intent for electromechanical integration. Provide technical insight to support engineering decisions.Requirements Analysis & Feasibility Assess customer requirements for electrical feasibility, identify risks, and suggest alternatives. Support quoting and early design by validating assumptions and addressing challenges.Electrical Design & Integration Lead development of circuits, PCBs, flex circuits, wiring, and test fixtures. Apply advanced theory (transmission lines, signal integrity, power analysis, EMI/EMC) for reliable performance. Adapt existing products or design new solutions to meet customer needs and manufacturability.Testing, Validation & Documentation Develop and execute FAT, DVT, and qualification test procedures aligned with requirements. Use tools (oscilloscopes, TDR, VNA, BER testers) to diagnose signal issues and interpret results. Produce clear documentation (schematics, BOMs, compliance matrices, reports) and recommend design/rework changes. Translate customer needs into technical requirements.R&D, Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for electrical/system issues. Identify improvements to products, processes, and test methods.Cross-Functional Support Provide electrical expertise to Manufacturing, Sales, Quality, and customers.
