Job Details:Start Date:ASAP - Ongoing End Date:Ongoing Coverage Type:24-hour call Practice Setting:Inpatient Location:Near Indianapolis, IN Key Responsibilities:Cardiothoracic Surgery:Provide comprehensive surgical care in a fast-paced environment with a focus on Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) and other critical procedures. Patient Load:Manage an average patient volume of 5 cases, ensuring high-quality surgical outcomes. Call Coverage:Provide 24-hour call coverage to support a solo surgeon in a busy hospital setting. Collaboration with Support Staff:Work closely with a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to deliver efficient patient care and surgical support. Requirements:Board Certification:Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery. Experience with CABG:Proficiency in Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) is required for this role. Licensing:Must possess an active Indiana medical license or be able to obtain one promptly. EMR System:Familiarity with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is preferred. Credentialing Timeframe:Candidates must be prepared for a streamlined credentialing process to ensure immediate placement.
