Experienced Class A Driver

Job Description We are seeking Class A Drivers to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck flatbed with Moffett. Hours will vary Monday to Saturday from 2am-4am to start ASAP!! Responsibilities and QualificationsVehicle OperationSafely operates company vehicles, including up to 26' trucks, in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulationsREQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Driving Flatbed with MoffettConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthinessDeliver materials to customer project sites on time, providing excellent customer serviceAdditional training such as Forklift, and other specified equipment may be requiredBasic understanding and knowledge of the operation of a forklift and other equipment Delivery & Customer ServiceUnload materials at delivery locations and verify deliveries against packing slipsEnsure deliveries are handled professionally and courteously, always representing the company positivelyThe ability to unload, protect, move and stage materials as specified by customer directiveBasic understanding and knowledge of building materials SafetyAdheres to all driving regulations based on state and/or jurisdiction policies such as wearing a seatbeltMaintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environmentFollow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environmentUse proper lifting techniquesWear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing CommunicationMust attend and participate in all required meetings in relation to material delivery and overall company Training RequirementsAttend and participate in all required company training programs Physical Job RequirementsFrequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulationFrequent driving or sitting in a truck, forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a dayOccasionally lift and/or move 80 lbs. and climb ladders carrying up to 50 lbsPushing and pulling carts loaded carts over various distances and surfaces.
