Planning, Team Leader

Halff is seeking to hire an experienced Team Leader to lead our Planning and Landscape Architecture team in the Oklahoma City office. This is a rare opportunity to lead a team of planners, designers, and project managers in a collaborative environment to help clients plan, design, and implement projects that improve their communities.The Halff Oklahoma City team is involved in a variety of exciting community enhancement projects across Oklahoma and in nearby states. Our ideal candidate is a great team member who is technically skilled, supportive of others, and interested in career development.What You Will DoThe responsibilities of this leadership position include oversight of the Oklahoma planning and design team and facilitation of our efforts to deliver award-winning projects.Projects will include comprehensive plans, parks and trails planning, downtown and special area plans, mobility planning, codes and development guidance, and much more.The ideal candidate can balance client, company and project team responsibilities, including strategic pursuits and marketing, project leadership, team representation, oversight and preparation of high-quality documents and deliverables, and interactive public engagement.What You Will NeedBachelor's or Master's degree in Regional/Urban Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a closely related field. Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a planning capacity.Three or more years of recent project management experience in a consultant or similar private sector capacity.Well organized, detail-oriented individual with strong leadership and relationship skills.Comfortable with public speaking and community engagement.Strong writing and communication skills.Familiarity and experience with computer programs such as GIS, Adobe Creative Suite, and Office.The ability to travel periodically to client communities. Experience working with both public and private sector clientele, is desired.AICP and/or other certifications form our allied professional (ASLA, AIA, CNU-A, LEED, etc.), is desired.Interested candidates who meet or exceed the above qualifications are invited to submit a letter of interest, resume, and project portfolio or work samples that demonstrates their abilities.
