Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Early Childhood Teacher, based in Englewood, CO. The Early Childhood Teacher will be responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing learning activities that promote the development of children. Day-to-day tasks include creating lesson plans, facilitating engaging and age-appropriate activities, supervising indoor and outdoor play, and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment. The teacher will also collaborate with families, peers, and administrators to support the educational and social-emotional development of children, while maintaining a safe and nurturing space. Qualifications Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood educationExperience planning and implementing lesson plans and classroom activitiesEffective communication and collaboration skills for working with children, families, and colleaguesClassroom management skills to maintain a safe and engaging learning environmentAbility to respond to the unique individual needs of children with kindness and flexibilityMinimum of an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (bachelor's degree preferred)CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtainPrevious teaching experience in an early childhood setting is a plusA passion for fostering curiosity, creativity, and growth in young children
