Unpack incoming shipments, verify and inspect contents in accordance with departmental procedures and quality standards. Bin incoming parts in assigned locations in accordance with departmental procedures and quality standards. Participate in perpetual inventory process. Maintain assigned areas in good condition at all times. Adhere to all safety and security regulations.Perform all basic PDC (Parts Distribution Center) warehouse functions such as picking, packing, checking, and binning in accordance with departmental procedures and quality standardsHigh School Diploma (GED)0-2 years of general warehouse experienceProcessing -> General knowledge of processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques to achieve designated productivity ratesWarehouse experience required.Environmental Conditions; The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this jobDue to fork lifts and other heavy equipment traveling throughout the PDC, temporary cracks may appear in the floor, causing an uneven walking surfaceThe warehouse environment can be dusty and noisyDoors near working areas are frequently open, causing drafts and interior temperature changesInterior floors near entrances and exits may become slippery during wet weather conditionsA warehouse associate may have to handle merchandise and working tools with sharp edges.
