Distinguishing Characteristics: This class differs from that of the Sewer Maintenance Repairer II in that the Sewer Maintenance Repairer I performs skilled work in the installation, maintenance and repair of sewer mains, lines, connections, laterals and appurtenances; whereas the Sewer Maintenance Repairer II supervises and participates in sewer maintenance work.
