A Day in the Life at Lansing: Warehouse Associate (youtube.com)Responsibilities:Live our mission statement centered on our values of respect, service, and excellenceGreet customers, pick tickets, and load/unload customer and company trucksUtilize handheld RF scanners to move, track, and manage products through our Warehouse Management System (TWL)Verify accuracy of orders picked and shipments receivedLift and move boxes of building materials weighing up to 70 poundsKeep warehouse clean and orderlyQualifications:Prior material-handling or warehouse experience (preferred)High integrity and high energyExperience in building products as well as previous warehouse experience is strongly desiredAbility to work in a team and/or one-on-one with our customersAbility and willingness to lift boxes and building materials weighing as much as 70+ lbsStrong customer service skillsExperience with a forklift is a plusAbility to work successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing businessStrong, positive attitudeA Warehouse Associate's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- Monday through Friday, generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)CDL Reimbursement and Pre-payment programs are available for qualified associates!WRH123
