Employment Litigation Associate Attorney – Mid to Senior Level (Los Angeles or San Francisco)Direct Counsel is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate to join a well-regarded national law firm with a leading California employment practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney looking to work on sophisticated employment defense matters in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have:A minimum of four years of experience handling employment litigation matters.A strong understanding of federal and California employment laws and regulations.Experience with class actions and PAGA matters preferred, though not required.Prior experience at a large defense firm or boutique handling complex employment litigation.The associate's practice will focus on a mix of employment litigation, including class actions, PAGA, and single-plaintiff cases.QualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law school.Active membership (or pending membership) with the California State Bar.Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.A team-oriented mindset and strong client service orientation.Compensation & BenefitsSalary range: $255,000–$330,000, depending on experience.Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and bonus eligibility.Generous paid time off and 10 paid holidays per year.Additional voluntary benefits such as accident, life, disability, long-term care, and pet insurance.Hybrid work flexibility and a supportive, inclusive culture committed to professional growth.This position offers a unique opportunity to build your career within a nationally recognized employment law practice while enjoying meaningful client contact, strong mentorship, and a collegial environment.
